4 track demo tape recorded at Media Sound Studios under direction of Madonna's first
manager Camille Barbone of August Artists Ltd and Gotham Sound Studios in New York City.
These tracks were performed live, there is a blog piece on a gig in 1981

*Mia Mind Music Demo Session 1981* (repitched by Tolvis 2025)
This seems to be a session granted Madonna by Mia Mind Music as payment for singing on
their other artists records/sessions. Probably only background singing but I don't
know, and I haven't been able to find any info about the artists even though Mia Mind
on some level seem to be behind the Otto Von Wernherr recordings which were released
in the mid 80's.

While these certainly seem to be Madonna only playing on all instruments, I wonder
whether "Home recordings" is really correct, I would think they were recorded at the
Music Building on 8th Avenue but then again she lived there for all intents and
purposes so maybe it's correct. In any case this tape was given to guitarist Jon
Gordon prior to recording the Gotham demo tape above.
